- Economic development
- Arts and culture
- Partnerships are made with community-based nonprofit organizations in the PNC footprint.
- Grants awarded to worthy nonprofit organizations from Trusts for which PNC has fiduciary and grant making responsibility.
- All grants are awarded in accordance with the donors' stated wishes
- Support given to year-round programs and projects that have measurable outcomes (requests for capital campaigns and operating support will not be considered)
- 18-month wait period between grants
